The Royal Oak HQ for contributing lots and lots of door prizes for all of our volunteers The Royal Oak on Wellington Peter and Paulette in particular who pulled together a heck of a feast for the athletes and volunteers and made us feel welcome at the best pub in town! Sharky’s Scuba Supply for providing classrooms, discounts on gear, weight, O2 kits, lift bags, pony bottles, and gases for the safety divers Kelsey’s Marina in Charleston Lake for providing the three pontoon boats used during the competition as well as all the boats used during our training sessions leading up to the nationals. Special thanks to Judy, Dwight, Lynn, Jason and Rob and of course Kate, our favourite Auto-Marine Mechanic! Yeah Kate! Your patience and understanding throughout the month has been great! IANTD International and Farallon USA for providing our deep technical support divers and bottom plate video as well as the formidable Marine Assault Vehicle/Gunship used as their support platform. The Nepean Sportsplex for providing us with pool time and classrooms for the event – special thanks to Jim O’Malley for setting it all up and helping us out. SANDS Windsor for providing all the paramedics during the event, in some cases complete with ambulance! (thankfully, not required) Divetech, Mallorytown for generously providing once again, a Sony VX2000 camera and Amphibico housing for our underwater footage Lisa Virtue for providing her own personal video camera and housing – thanks again! The Dockside Restaurant in Charleston for feeding 30 hungry divers after the open water event!
