With most students away for the summer, the dormitories at the University of British Columbia are available to house all participants. The dormitories are within walking distance of all venues except for Constant Ballast. Some of Vancouver’s best beaches and trails are also within walking distance. The nearby transit bus loop provides regular, inexpensive transportation to shops and the sights of Vancouver.
Participants will be housed in the Gage Towers residence at UBC. There is enough space in Gage for all participants, including alternates, coaches and family.
Gage Towers
The Gage residence is comprised of three 17-storey towers. Each floor is divided into four suites, each of which has six bedrooms, a shared washroom, kitchenette, and lounge. Most rooms accommodate one person only, although there are some suites where one room has a double bed. Each suite can therefore accommodate up to six or seven guests.
